They collected my car for an MOT during the lockdown. I agreed for the work to be done as they offered a payment plan. The total cost of the service was £780. They charged me £6 to side mirror even after telling me they would not charge me. In addition they also charged me £15 to dispose off my tyres and there is also a charge of £3.50 for sundry expenses. The price of the tyres was over £10 the price on the internet. Unfortunately i did not do my research and I believe they conned me as a female who does not know much about cars. I was very dissapointed after speaking to another garage who told me I was ROBBED especially during this hard times.

Vehicle was booked in for an MOT and Poor starting. To my surprise it passed its MOT with only a couple of minor advisories.When I asked them to carry out the advisory repairs, again to my surprise they told me not to have the work done at this stage and that they would re inspect the components in 6 months free of charge. The poor starting was repaired at a very reasonable cost replacement of glow plugs.

Had my car in for a service and MOT. I had been advised by a fast fit chain when having a tyre replaced that my front pads and discs required replacement, so advised Cross Street of this when booking in. I received a phone call later that day and was told that my car had passed its MOT and that my front brakes did not warrant be replaced due to them only being 60% worn

I asked for a price to fix a gearbox sensor, I had all the error codes and print out from RAC diagnostics, they then told me that they were unable to do the work as the part needed to be programmed by Mercedes, they then charged me £36 for telling me the exact same fault codes I had told them, Mercedes happily gave me a quote over the phone for the work. dodgy con men running this place I would not trust then and would encourage you to avoid at all costs.

I took my car in for an MOT. Repair work was needed, which I had done. Slightly on the expensive side... but not a worry. They returned my car with the engine warning light and service light on. (The car was serviced two months prior.) The steering wheel was also not straight when driving in a straight line, following some new tyres they fitted. They assured me the tracking was done correctly. I asked them to rectify the warning lights (as they weren't on when I delivered the car) and correct the steering wheel/tracking. However, I spoke to Terry, who was very aggressive, denied all responsibility and said that he 'will look at the car, but wont promise anything'. I'm very disappointed and left with a car that has a crooked steering wheel and two warning lights. I would avoid this garage AT ALL COSTS!
