We have been a customer of ALS Autos for many years and find them to be a friendly and honest family run garage, who can be relied on to service vehicles in the correct manner. Consequently, we are pleased with the performance of our present Suzuki Baleno and also the continuing performance of the garage.

Booked in for a service, I sat in the waiting area whilst it was carried out. It was lovely to hear customers coming in to collect there cars and to hear the great things they say about the staff here. They read through the bill to explain what had been carried out and a few advisers for next time. Definitely be returning

Came in for an MOT on a waiting appointment. The car was taken straight in from what I could tell and had a free cup of coffee while i waited, the MOT took about an hour and was charged £54.85. The girls on the desk were lovely and really helpful. It was nice to be able to watch tv while i was there as well. I was offered a free service wash as well

Took my 2001 octavia estate for MOT, sort air-con, programme new remote key fix dodgy door mirror. Had already told them where the gas leak in the air-con was but they re-filled the system anyway, didn't fix the mirror but charged for it, ditto the key programming. Told me they'd changed the brake fluid but only touched one bleed nipple! Also over-filled sump with oil. On another occasion when I went to buy a new battery they asked if I would like it fitted, foolishly imagining they would fit it for free they sent their apprentice out to fit it. He was so clueless I had to tell him what to do, and for that they charged me £10!

Bought a second hand 18 month old Octavia from this dealer. They claimed it was fully serviced. The ABS warning light lite up on the way home as I live over 100 miles away I took it to local Skoda dealer in Epsom. Who checked the car and found it to be in a poor state. It required a lot of work to bring it up to acceptable standards including common service parts such as as wipers, brake pads, oil change and filters. When I complained to Al's I was told by the Garage owner himself " what did I expect it was after all a secondhand car not a new one". He dismissed the claim for the service and only offered to send me some new wipers and then he sent me the wrong ones and they wasn't new either. Laughably the worst service I ever encountered from a so called main Skoda agent. Tin pot is the best discription for service quality and customer services none existent. Best avoid this shoddy outfit.
