"Failed to diagnose error in warranty and now expect me to pay"

Car was under warranty, we noticed gearbox was not working as smoothly as before (automatic) Took the car in for investigation, could not find any issue (there was no gearbox light on - so obviously no fault!!!) Now car is out of warranty, car goes into limp mode, 2x in 3months. Take it in for major service and for the gearbox to be looked at. They say there is no issue (£300+) Car then goes into limp mode 5x in 3 days after they have serviced it. So, in my mind must be a connection. (2x in 3 months… they service it and then 5x in 3 days) Take car back to them to find the issue and now they want more money to plug in a computer into the car. They won’t listen to me as a customer and appreciate we’ve reported this issue multiple times, won’t waver the cost to just plug the computer in…. Kept me waiting for ages so they could listen to a call where they said they would waive the cost, because they don’t believe me that this was said. Not impressed, by both the reliability of the car and also, and especially their level of service, just want to keep charging money rather than help the customer.

IVery stern and argumentative over the phone. Could not verify my problem was in need of a complete overhaul and yet insisted car needed an overhaul equivalent to double the value of the car. Also quoted over double the recommended fee for the damage specific repair which was most likely the culprit

Inflexible booking system with no consideration for the customer. Even a simple repair can take several days. Unhelpful reception staff, definitely a garage to avoid - especially if you are a woman - made the mistake of returning a second time - never again.
