Allen Ford charged me £150 to give my Ford Ranger a quick wash. I took it in with engine maintenance light on and an intermittent problem with adblue. I wasn't expecting a repair but was hoping for some sort of indication as to what would need to be done. They didn't even bother with diagnostic report. Suppose I should feel lucky that they at least gave it a quick wash.

Great garage, worth travelling to from other towns. Customer centred, thoughtful considerate staff and get the problems sorted quickly. Offer a good booking system including an option to wait for the work to be done.
