Does my Renault Clio need a timing belt replacement?

We have bought a Renault Clio with a full service history. Renault recommendations are that it is changed at five years or 72,000 miles, whichever is earlier. The car is seven years old and has done 46,000 miles. I have checked the service history but there is no record of it having been changed. Would you recommend an immediate change, or do I have a bit of leeway?
Get the belt, tensioner and all small pulleys changed as soon as reasonably possible. No panic.
