How easy is it to retrofit automatic fog lights to a new car?
I'm buying a Seat Ateca S because I'm not prepared to wait the 20 weeks delivery time or pay the extra £4000 for the SE model. If I wanted to retrofit automatic fog lights, instead of having to turn them on manually, how difficult would it be?
Not a easy job. It also depends on the existing wiring in the new car. Given that it's a new car, I'd be very careful about who you use to carry out the modification as it will entail rerouting wiring. When you consider how many times you actually use fog lights, you may want to consider if the modification is warranted.
