Why does my Ford Fiesta keep overheating?
If the fan never comes on, it's most likely to be a failed temp sensor/sender switch to the fan. Try applying 12v to the fan motor and if it works then the fault is the sensor/sender switch. Could be a lot of other things, such as the thermostat failed shut, the waterpump failed, a leak leaving no coolant in the system, or the valve between the engine coolant pipes and the heater matrix failed.
