Why is water leaking into the footwell of my 2005 Vauxhall Corsa?

At what mileage do the cam chain tensioner and water pump need changing in my 2005 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Ecotec? The driver's footwell is also soaked and I can't find where the leak is. Could you help?
There is no scheduled age or mileage for changing these. Listen for noises. Watch out for water loss from the waterpump. Change the oil and filter at least every year or at least every 10,000 miles whichever comes first. Your footwell may be soaked because the bulkhead vent well drains either side are blocked, leaving rainwater nowhere to go except via the pollen filter into the car. However, older 2000 - 2006 Corsa C models had a more serious problem that was delaminating of the bulkhead, covered here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/vauxhall/corsa-c-200.../
