Why is my Ford Fiesta losing coolant?

My 2009 Ford Fiesta 1.2 is losing coolant. There has been no overheating, fan kicks in and goes off as normal. Also no mix in oil and no water pump no noise. What is the problem?
Probably an airlock blowing coolant out of the pressure cap. From completely cold, turn the car heater to max, take off the expansion tank pressure cap, start the engine and run it until the thermostat opens and the radiator fan kicks in. Be ready for a gurgle and a geyser out of the expansion tank that purges the airlock, then replace the cap.
