Kia warranty - can I still have my car serviced at an independent garage?

I am getting mixed messages from dealers. My local KIA agent says I must have KIA dealer service stamps or I will invalidate my warranty. Other dealers say any VAT registered garage stamp should be accepted to maintain the seven year warranty. Who's right on this?
The car must be wholly serviced by KIA dealer to KIA standards. As long as the car was serviced to KIA standards using KIA specified liquids and parts and the servicing garage could prove this by its parts invoices, then the first 3 years warranty could probably be enforced, but not the remaining 4 years which depend on the car being properly serviced and all TSBs duly carried out.
