We had a blow out in the lanes near Plymouth last week. A passing good Samaritan called out Elburton Garages Ltd, Arcadia Road, Elburton, Plymouth. PL9 8EG. Tel 01752 405376. They came out immediately, changed the wheel, and took the old wheel to their works. By 10.00 a.m. next day they had obtained a matching Michelin tyre and fitted it. They made no charge for the call out , labour or wheel balancing. and just charged £90 for the tyre. A similar tyre from our local Associated Tyre Specialists would have cost at least £15 more, and we expected a total bill of £150 ! They were friendly and efficient, and certainly deserve to go on your list of good garages. They are non franchised, and can deal with most problems.
