Thanks to Pentagon Hyundai Wakefield for fixing my i10's faulty headlight levelling switch.

For some months, my new Sept 2010 i10, 1.2 auto has made an elusive “Urr-urr, Urr-rr” noise, when on the road or engine running in "park." I ruled out the heater fan. Next I examined the cooling system to see if the expansion tank or radiator cap was faulty. No problem! Mystified, I phoned the local Hyundai retailer who supplied the car. Have you heard an i10 go, "Urr-urr, Urr-urr?" I asked. "Yes it's a faulty headlight levelling switch, which cycles the headlights up and down. Bring it in immediately." An hour later, Monday afternoon, 14 Feb 2011, all fixed, cup of coffee supplied and a tour of the ix20 whilst I waited. I can recommend Pentagon Hyundai Wakefield for their excellent sales/service. Allegedly this is a problem that caused the police to apprehend a driver for flashing their headlights.
Another reader has his fixed only for the same thing to happen again. Apparently the part is being redesigned and remanufactured in Korea. So if it happens again you know the situation. Will send Pentagon Wakefield to the compiler of the good garage guide.
