Toyota Yaris: Senior service

Last summer I purchased a used Toyota Yaris from a local main dealer and in this purchase was given a 12-month warranty. Recently I have had to return the vehicle for warranty repair, leaking wheel cylinder, and have now been told that to reinstate the warranty a full service is required despite the fact that the vehicle has only covered some 700 miles since purchase. Is this stance reasonable, and should I comply with it?
The car must not have been serviced prior to your purchase of it because it did not need a service then. But what they are saying is that it does need a service now. Entirely reasonable.
