The All-In-One Sports Car

I've had the Scirocco for 5 years, and it's difficult to find anything else that could work as well: it's amazingly spacious given the compact dimensions and sporty lines, works brilliantly as a cross-continential workhorse when required, yet offers astonishing cross-country ability if you're in the mood.
Put the DSG gearbox in Sport, and it turns into an incredibly responsive and manic machine, which feels quicker and more fun than my previous Boxster S.
The interior is classy, the boot huge for a car like this, and the back seats fine for adults unless you're talking 4 x 6 footers.
You can get high 30s mpg if you drive it gently, or below 30 if you sit on the on autoroute at 90, but mostly it's around 32-33 according to the dash.
No reliability issues in 5 years, but there is a tendency for others to sc***e it's bottom when parking behind it - maybe it sticks out a bit more than people expect!
The only downside is the visibility which is terrible. Rear parking sensors are vital, but even the view out the front is poor with thick pillars and a high dash. But I still love it's compact functional looks, turn of speed, and rock-solid build.
