Streets ahead of all other Subarus I’ve owned

This E-Boxer Forester is the latest ,and best, version of this model.( I’ve owned 8 Subarus, so I’ve a lot to compare it with).
There is a vast improvement over my 2019 petrol-only car. It handles, rides and performs much better, and the average fuel economy is better by 10%, although no one would claim that fuel consumption is this car’s strong point. But it averages 38 mpg on mixed driving, which, for a 2 tonne four wheel drive SUV ain’t bad.
The electric motor is there more to add assistance to the engine mainly, although the car will creep along in stop-start traffic for a mile on EV only. The engine cuts in almost seamlessly.
The visibility from these cars is amazing. I’ve sat in rival models, and they are claustrophobic by comparison. The seats are comfortable, and the legroom back and front is excellent. Altogether, I would say this model justifies the higher price. It shows where the development money went, and on top of that, it’s very well screwed together.
