GREAT LOOKING/APPALLING QUALITY

Was really looking forward to owning this car. Always wanted a Golf GTI but didn't want to pay the premium so got rid of the 5 Series and knuckled down to some fun times.

How wrong i could be. Car has appalling quality issues, mainly rattling doors, 'a' pillars being scratched on delivery from new, windscreen rattling against the dash and also the instrument binnacle full of scratches on delivery.

Some of these issues the dealer has half-heartedly attempted to put right, most with minimal levels of quality and attention to detail.

It has got that bad that i took the car out of the dealer network and paid for repairs myself at an independant garage. Hey presto, all the problems sorted.

I have a total lack of faith in Seat's dealer network and in-fact Seat themselves recognise this and are investing in their network of dealers.

Too late for me. I will be getting rid of the car half way through the finance agreement and jumping back into a premium.

Lesson learnt.

Forgot to mention, some of the plastics are horrendous. Not befitting of a car which cost me over £23k
