I'd been trying to get a problem with my 2001 Jaguar S Type fixed for some time and had even had it in another garage but they had a different idea as to what the problem was and so the problem had remained!

Mulsanne Motors knew exactly what the problem was and finished my sentence off on the phone when booking it in! They even ran me round to a bus stop to get back home, although I have since found out they have courtesy cars available (will remember that next time!).

Had the car fixed when they said they would and at a decent cost. I'll be taking my car here from now on!!

We took our Jaguar X-type to Mulsanne Motors on the basis of some of the reviews online, and couldn't have been more pleased. We paid a fraction of the cost of the main Jaguar dealer for a service and repairs. They are friendly and efficient, and you really feel that you can trust them to do what's right, rather than what makes them money. We had a problem with the car just before we were leaving for a weekend away, but we needed it working on the Monday. Two of the guys came to our flat in Edinburgh, took the car away, repaired it, and returned it for the start of the week. They charged nothing for the collection and delivery.

I can't recommend them highly enough.

I thought I would mention a garage in Dalkeith, just outside Edinburgh.
Mulsanne Motors Ltd (www.mulsannemotors.com), as the name implies, are
Bentley and Rolls Royce specialists, but they also service a limited range of
Jaguars, including my 10 year old XK8. They recently carried out its annual
service and MOT and dealt with a number of minor matters – replacing brake
pads, top ball joint, shock bushes, etc. The work was professionally and
efficiently undertaken at a very fair price and I was provided with an X-type
Jaguar as a courtesy car. Ross MacLeod kept in touch and advised whether
work was absolutely necessary or not. Highly recommended.
