I have been using C&G for more years than I care to remember and since they were called Cares. This is a small, family run garage with excellent and friendly service. I have no mechanical knowledge and I and my family own older vehicles that inevitably need more attention than a new or nearly new car. I have no hesitation in recommending C&G.
All I can say is that they have earned my trust through many years of looking after my car and then my wife's car and latterly my sons' cars. They talk to me as if I was not a complete idiot and explain in plain english what needs doing and why, and do the work for a fair price.
Between services if I have a problem I can take the car in to them and they will look at it and as often as not will fix the problem on the spot and often without charging for their time. If they can't fix it they will direct me to another local tradesman who can and who shares their values. Excellent.
