My first encounter with Bell & Colvill was in 1972. I have used their parts department for Lotus parts since 1978 and Subaru parts since 1997. Parts service is second to none. I have bought 3 Lotuses and 2 Subarus from them, all of which have been serviced by them with no complaints. I continue to take both my Lotus and Subaru to them for service although both cars are now over 10 years old and I could get them serviced more cheaply at a local garage. Bell & Colvill are always friendly and helpful and I recommend them whole heartedly.

I bought a Feb '07 75,000 mile Legacy 2.0 auto from B&C in July. Price negotiations were conducted in a pleasant and professional manner. The salesman noticed that the service history had a gap on whether the cam belt had been replaced. He checked this and had a full service, with cam belt change, done prior to my purchase. All within the agreed price.

Within two months of purchase, I noticed a squeaking sound from the front n/s wheel. Bell & Colvill checked this and traced the fault to a sticking brake pad. They replaced all the front pads free of charge. Given that these are a consumeable item, not covered by the warranty, I was pleasantly surprised by the gesture. They also checked out another intermittent noise from the heating system as well as washing and vacuuming the car.
