Buying a reliable auto - Ford Fiesta or Kia Picanto?

I am choosing between a Ford Fiesta 1.0-litre Powershift or a Kia Picanto auto for my daughter's first car (she has to have an auto). Both cars were built in 2016 and are similar in price and condition. Do you have any advice on which car is best for relaiblity?

This version of the Ford Fiesta uses the troublesome dual-clutch auto gearbox that needs a fluid change every four years. If reliability is key, I'd pick the Kia Picanto with its dependable four-speed torque converter.
